Redeeming the Time combines solid Biblical teaching with reliable insights from Psychology and Sociology to produce curriculum, classes, and seminars that guide our clients in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with their spouses, business associates, children, and communities.

Our Ministry

Redeeming the Time opened operations in the fall of 2008. The vision for the services it offers was born in the mind and heart of its founder, president, and lead instructor, Carl Smith, over 8 years ago.  The guiding principles of Redeeming the Time are centered on accepting personal responsibility for our actions and realizing the life-changing power of God's grace and forgiveness.

Carl has more than 11 years experience as a pastor, and more than 18 years experience as a family preservation therapist, Department of Social Services foster care case manager/supervisor, family violence intervention program facilitator, and franchise consultant for a major national company. He has led conferences at the regional and state level for judges, social workers, ministers, and law enforcement personnel on the dynamics of domestic violence. That experience has enabled him to establish positive working relationships with the judicial system, law enforcement agencies, social service agencies, and mental health professionals.  He draws on those relationships to provide our clients the best in crisis counseling, counseling referral service, and psycho-educational instruction.

We pledge to keep you informed of the progress of the clients you entrust to our services.  If you provide us the date by which your client is supposed to contact us we take the responsibilty of monitoring their progress off your shoulders.
